Roofdor / SV
Roofdor / SV access hatches are designed with weatherproofing in mind and are available non fire rated as standard & can be rated upto 3 Hour Fire Resistance for integrity to BS476: Parts 21 and 22: 1987. Comprising double skinned insulated aluminium lid construction with standard 200mm upstand.
Roofdor's offer thermal insulation against condensation and heat loss as the lid is filled with CFC and HCFC free insulation with a U-Value of 0.78 W/m2 to BS3958: Part 5: 1986 as standard. Different U-Values & Sound Reduction Properties are available. Heavy duty aluminium hinges supports the lid which features integral wrap over edge and neoprene seals fitted complete with safety hold open stay to prevent against accidental closure.
Roofdor / SV lids are held closed by an Electromagnetic Lock which works in tandem with the instant gas spring opening and designed for wiring into the fire alarm system with manual closing as standard.

Roofdor / E access hatches are constructed generally as the above hatches and designed with weatherproofing in mind, complete with heavy duty aluminium hinges and neoprene seals fitted.
Roofdor / E hatches are fitted with an electrical actuator(s) that works in tandem with the gas springs and designed for wiring into a control box to be opened and closed via various control options.

Roofdor / SV140º
Our 140º Smoke Vent is designed to stay open at a 140 degree angle to ensure that smoke and harmful gases are taken away from the opening and cannot be blown back into the building.
The cover opens to its fully open position within 60 seconds of activation in order to take smoke away from the building as quickly as possible.
All roofdor access hatches can be polyester powder coated to ANY standard stock RALcolour and can be either single, double or multi leaf units.
