Loftdor ceiling access panels are designed for access to domestic loft space and to fit between 600mm centre joists / truss constructions.
The Loftdor can also be used in conjunction with standard drop down loft ladders for easy access.Comprising a 1.0mm thick Zintec flap down lockable door with a 1.2mm thick Zintec frame.
Loftdor access panels are supplied with either a picture frame surround or a beaded frame for tape and joint.
Non Fire Rated or One Hour Fire Rated options are available on the basis of test conducted to BS 476 Part 22: 1987. The loftdor is fitted with Fire shield backing board and expanded fire retardent 3mm x 10mm draught strip.Loftdors benefit from a 1.2mm thick continuous steel hinge located on M6 screws welded to the frame and secured with nuts and washers.
Locking by budget lock mechanism with a slot insert for user friendly opening and complete with plastic cap to conceal key hole when not in use.
Loftdor products are finished polyester powder coated Ral 9010 20% gloss as standard. Other RAL colours are available on request at an extra cost.
